Illness to be healedTherapy wing is devoted to promote research and publication in “Cultural Aesthetics” and its association with “Therapeutic Healing”. Taking advantage of modern research methodologies in various forms of mental illness, Therapy Wing promotes research in cultural aesthetics, namely various performing arts including dance, music, drama, paintings, etc., within the contest of therapeutic values and therapeutic efficiency.
IICAT offers various courses on Music Therapy, Dance Therapy, Movement Therapy, Drama Therapy etc. in collaboration with various International Bodies.
Through our national and international Centers, we are also engaged in practical implementation of music therapy, movement therapy, performing arts therapy in different populations including persons with down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, gerontological problem, diabetic, malignancy, stress management, pain management, behavior therapy, etc.
The therapy wing is also successful in publishing many articles based on the research findings in journals of national and international reputes.
